    The owner bought the quilt from Ruby Boyd the summer she worked at a tourism chalet on the Trans Canada Highway at Springdale Junction in 1972. She visited craft producers and collected quilts, mats, knitting, etc. for the new craft section of the tourist chalet the year it opened.
