    An art teacher showed her how to quilt & gave her the beige cotton as a start. Other pieces of fabrics are from Micheline's wedding dress (1964) and Christening dress (1942) the eyelet cotton was given by a friend who had cancer & died in 1986. Some fabrics are from her sister's wedding dress (1977) some fabrics are from her grandmother's night-gown (1950)
