    The quilt was sent to Toronto at the Royal Winter Fair. Mrs McKell was a founding member of the Howick W.I. and was the 1st secretary of the W.L. "Christmas quilt" used at that time of year due to red & green Maker returned home to help & only substitute teaching Museum quality
