    This quilt was made to get rid of a collection of stripes that I had acquired when I was in my stripe period. My Mom fell in love with it so it was hers when it was finished. Every stitch is by hand including the assembly of the blocks but not including the first stitching of the bias which was done by machine. The final stitching of the bias was, however, by hand. I don't particularly like the quilt and in the end it made not a bit of difference in my stripe stash.
